We offer a wide range of courses ranging from the basics of daylighting to more specific programs focused on FRP panel daylighting, polycarbonate and glass glazing.

In this course we’ll examine common glazing options and daylighting system configurations, custom options that can make a system stand out, and numerous examples of projects that utilize daylighting systems to their fullest.

The designer must understand not only the importance of natural light in the workplace, schools, and retail environments, but also how to bring it about for optimal function, performance, and durability.

High Performance Translucent Building Envelopes (1 LU / HSW)

This course focuses on the key characteristics of both successful and unsuccessful daylighting strategies and what defines a high-performance polycarbonate multi-wall daylighting system. In addition, the course will review different translucent technologies including removable options and quad-glazed systems, and also gain insight on testing and standards.
