Antibiotice Iași (ATB) is the largest Romanian manufacturer of generic medicines and a cornerstone of the country's pharmaceutical industry, based in Iași. Founded in 1955, it was the first manufacturer of penicillin in South-Eastern Europe.
It is the world's leading manufacturer of Nystatin (an antifungal active ingredient). Produces a wide range of products, including sterile injectable powders, ointments, suppositories, capsules, and tablets.
High demanding technical requirements
This project stood out due to the highly demanding technical requirements for enhanced thermal transfer. By integrating advanced engineering solutions, our team delivered a high-performance system that perfectly balances thermal efficiency, safety, and cost optimization.
Customized skylights engineered with thermal break profiles, fully painted in RAL colors, and equipped with 20 mm polycarbonate panels to meet strict energy efficiency standards. Smart Smoke Ventilation with drives 100% electric (24V), ensuring a reliable system that requires zero consumables during operation and lowers long-term maintenance costs.
Premium Systems fully executed using top-tier Kingspan Light + Air systems, guaranteeing flawless operation and compliance with the highest industry standards. Our team took full responsibility for the structural design, supply, and installation of the self-supporting curbs (upstands). By precision-dimensioning these components to fit the project's exact needs, we achieved significant cost optimizations for the client without needed secondary structers.
Execution was carried out by a dedicated team of 6 to 8 state-authorized technicians, fully certified by Romanian authorities for complex smoke and heat exhaust ventilation (SHEV) installations.
