The project presented significant architectural challenges, including curved forms, glazed atriums, interconnected walkways, and sophisticated structural geometry requiring precise integration with the building envelope.
Taikoo Place transformed a former industrial district in Quarry Bay into one of Hong Kong’s largest Grade-A office campuses, accommodating over 50,000 workers and connected directly to the city’s MTR network. Kingspan delivered smoke control and daylighting solutions for a complex, multi-building environment linked by enclosed pedestrian bridges and extensive shared spaces.
By supporting fire safety, occupant comfort, and architectural intent, Kingspan helped enable the seamless operation of this landmark mixed-use office development.
